How to Use a Breadboard Comic Published

The How to Use a Breadboard comic I illustrated that was written by Sean Michael Ragan was published by Make this summer. I was very happy to receive this stack of books from Roger Stewart, our editor and publisher, this summer. You can buy it as a book or as part of a kit.

And here are a few pages.

Campfire!

I helped fellow camper Kay Anar build a “campfire” last week at ITP summer camp. Here’s a photo comic that documents it. It was fun!campfire-doc

Breadboard Comic

I’ve been working on a comic that explains how to use a breadboard and create a number of different projects with Maker Media for a while. Here are the first 2 pages– they explain the basics of setting up a board. Gareth Branwyn initiated the project as a workshop at World Maker Faire in 2012, Sean Ragan edited and wrote the text for the circuit examples.

Counting in Binary Page 1

This is the first page of a comic I made for my students that explains how to count in binary notation. Chris Stein helped edit it and made a Flash application that tests ability to convert from decimal to binary and back.
