SPX is a great con, wonderful indie comics, relatively easy to navigate. And everyone seems to be in a really good mood! I had only been once before, went this year and had a great time. Not a great place to take photos, but here are a few pictures anyway.
This was a great weekend for comics. On Friday evening, Calvin, Karen Green and Steven Heller received the first annual Push and Kick Award at the Society for Illustrators.
Saturday was Comics Arts Brooklyn, a great show sort of reincarnated from Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival.
