Co-lab had a return to the A.More Store exhibition at Printed Matter to celebrate the publication of A Book about Colab (and related Activities).
It was a great show, multiples by many Colab artists. I made a couple of flashing A.More Store signs, as well as some wax paper/tin foil and fabric jewelry. Here’s a few pictures.

Pockets Video
A lot of items of women’s clothing are sadly lacking in pockets. To address this problem, I made a lot of pockets that could be worn around your neck, or tied around your waist from old tee-shirts and sweatshirts. These were cut out on a laser cutter and hand stitched together.
Jeff Feddersen made a video of me talking about my pockets and some of the other work I did on the laser cutter during my sabbatical when I was a visiting scholar at ITP. Here it is.

Freud Book
I made another motorized book using an Arduino and servo motors. This one has pages embroidered with a brief quote from Freud about dream interpretation, along with illustrations.

At ITP camp I spent a lot of time on the laser cutter. I made this chain mail hoodie (or knight mask as one little girl called it). A few photos, better pictures to come.
This year at ITP Camp I made laser cut lamps, some cut from old tee-shirts and other fabrics, some from acrylic cut and formed into chains or chain mail.
I have a show at the Boca Raton Museum of Art, opening January 29 through April 21 2013. Here are a few pictures, some by Calvin Reid.
Here are pictures of a book I made with some text from Freud’s New Introductory Lectures about dream interpretation. The text was laser cut, I sewed the pages together by hand.
